I had problems with that card as well. Although I think I got it to work once by changing which slot it was in. Have you tried all the many IRQ's and base addresses? I remember having to switch to the console screen and play around with insmod for a while. But for the record, I haven't gotten it to work since. Too little too late did I see that DE220's are in the bad_clone_list in ne.c that they "none-the-less recognize." Didn't have problems with a DFE-500TX from D-Link though.
