I have a slink system (updated from hamm) which seemed to be working
perfectly, however I recently attempted to install wdm which dselect
starts during the installation procedure -- all apeared to work well.
I thought I should reboot to see if booting would take me directly
to wdm and it did but my keyboard was completely dead (not even the
caps lock led would work) but my mouse continued to function perfectly
allowing me to push buttons etc.
This is the first time since kernel 0.99 pl15 that I have been forced
to use the power button :) I rebooted in single user mode and purged
wdm -- evrything is back to normal but I was to give a demonstration
for an employer next week and dont want them to see the scary looking
command line.
Does anybody have any idea why this might happen ?? Thanks in advance!
