I have export XAUTHORITY=/home/hawk/.Xauthority in my .xsession, which seems to do the trick. That could probably be ~/ .Xauthority, I suppose . . . On the other hand, I have export TERM=xterm and still end up with xterm-debian when i telnet & ssh to digital unix. rick --
