Hi,
I located some strange things with nis:
I set up a NIS-Server with Debian-slink. I've got clients with Debian 1.3 and
one with 2.0. After creating new nismaps the clients with debian 1.3 are
hanging, while trying to log in. But the hamm client works just fine.
Even when I try to reboot the bo-clients they wont reboot (only the message
"System is going down for reboot now" is shown for hours). After restarting
them with hard Reset they work until something changes the nismaps.
This doesn't happen with the hamm clients.
