Hi, I tried to make a boot disk with memtest86 on it to test a buggy machine. It works fine on my machine, but when used on the target machine, the lilo on the disk goes "LI" and stops.
I used: boot=/dev/fd0 prompt timeout=100 image=/floppy/memtest86.bin label=memtest As the conf file to install lilo on the diskette. And I had previously copied memtest86.bin to /floppy on which the floppy drive was mounted. I just used plain mke2fs to format the floppy. Any idea what might be going wrong? Thanks!
