Dear Fikret and httpd of apache user:

Is the html code of <img src="http://www.comapny.com/file.gif";>
fail to resolve to http://1.2.3.4/file.gif";>
is because my httpd.conf did not configure well, I use 1.3.26 of apache
(should I upgrade to 2 to fix this problem?)

no & no
although this answer ie correct but it corresponding too small scope
and probably you long know
<img src
that src is be classifed as URI which not be treet as URL
that 's one of reason my registar is they are too out of date , or too lasy, then it can not resolve it to my ip as
<a href="http://www.company.com/";> </a> do

you know , you should talk it out early, either I config my linux box 's dns or swich registar rather than keep hitting wall.
