I went to ftp.xfree986.org, downloaded all the necessary binaries, and then 
just followed the 
directions.  Essentially, you put all the .tgz files in your /var/tmp folder, 
then run a preinstallation 
script, extract all the files (using a special "extract" binary), and then run 
a postinstallation 
script.  After that I ran XF86Setup, and the rest is history.

You might be able to use the new server with the 3.3.2 version, but I don't 
know if I'd trust it.  And 
considering how painless the upgrade to 3.3.3 is, I don't think it'd really be 
worth it anyway.
