An overview answer: Run magicfilterconfig as normal to get a /etc/printcap entry for what ever printer you are finally going to print with.
Then you need to set up a smbprint script that will be called by your /etc/printcap whenever printing is done. To see how to do this last step, install samba and go to /usr/doc/samba/doc/examples/ to find some example scripts. Also read through some of the information in the ../doc directory.
