Hi, After a broken upgrade, I re-installed Debian2.0. With 1.3, I'd installed dhcpc and it like worked right out of the box i think.
For my re-install, i set up the base system and said | was on a network and filled in all the info. Then, I installed dhcpc thinking it would like get all that info automatically for me and ignore the /etc/init.d/network file. Bu it isn't getting ignored, and if i take everything out of /etc/init.d/network, dhcpc, although it gets run, won't grab anything like my host ip address and stuff. It worked before without any twaeking - what do I need to do to get it to reun properly? (ip interface is eth0) Ta, Martin ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
