I am trying to compile 2.1.127. I have tried make zImage and I get an error that System is too big. Using bzImage the kernel compiles but is 1.5 M and when I run lilo to remap I get the error that the system is too big. What can I do to correct this? I am compiling sound and various other modules directly into the kernel instead of as modules but I would have thought that the kernel would have still have been able to handle this. Am I wrong?
