I have just uploaded chrony to unstable. chrony is an 'atomic clock' package similar to xntp3 but easier to install and administer and more suitable for use with intermittent dialup connections. If you have a dialup connection to the Net it should work out of the box with no configuration.
It seems to work fine for me, but I am not equipped to test it extensively.
