I am trying to get access to a database through the mysql C API. After apparently compiling without errors, the simple program fails with the error:
error in loading shared libraries libmysqlclient.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. any help would be greatly appreciated. I have mysql -base, -dev, -server, -doc, -manual all installed. thanks dennis drapeau [EMAIL PROTECTED]
