In tcsh:
$ foreach F (*)
foreach? mv $F `echo $F | tr '[A-Z]' '[a-z]'`
foreach? end
In bash, it would be something like:
for F in *;
do mv $F `echo $F | tr '[A-Z]' '[a-z]'`
done;
