Umm...It might. ;^) Run modconf as root, and see if you can find the module appropriate for your card somewhere in the list of network devices. That should be all you need to do, unless you've got something funky like a PnP card. I only have experience with 3COM 3c509 and 3c503 cards, but they were really easy to setup. If you don't have the appropriate kernel module available on your system, you'll need to rebuild your kernel to include support for it. That's not hard, assuming your card is supported at all. noah PGP public key available at http://lynx.dac.neu.edu/home/httpd/n/nmeyerha/mail.html or by 'finger -l [EMAIL PROTECTED]' -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBNhjgRodCcpBjGWoFAQEw4gP/Vw1Bh2PWX3DR5cYB6zHTiSHu4PjnDK7+ d54vFKSILrj4ZGs87s5620KTk981cuWh0n0llkwRW9ybTzagiVLmDHYu+DVH2gWt lQvLr+kRjpxoYzeSPwv2JMNSNoi9XZM7ApXQtLH3XQ3JmM0D8ad58b/ktFe3bNd2 L7egkNYdYgI= =EwJL -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
