Hello! I compiled checkpassword 0.76 witch -lcrypt and put it in /bin. But it will not work with qmail-pop3d, which is invoked inetd:
pop-3 stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/qmail-popup qmail-popup domain.com /bin/checkpassword /usr/sbin/qmail-pop3d Maildir I get an authorization failure. What's wrong? $ telnet localhost 110 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. +OK <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> user username +OK pass password -ERR authorization failed Connection closed by foreign host. $ P.S.: Why is there no checkpassword Debian package?
