Hi, I installed hamm via diskette, and now have a functioning, yet incomplete system.
I downloaded a bunch of files to my winbox (has lots of free disk space) and can now make an ftp connection from linux to the winbox. I have also got dselect to point to the correct directory while using the "ftp" option. I ran dselect to complete my hamm installation, and all seemed to be going well (aside from the fact that some of the files were inaccessable, and all of the files in the /lib/ directory were corrupted). When I ran dselect after that, I got the following msg: dselect: parse error, in file `/var/lib/dpkg/updates/0046' near line 1: newline in field name `#padding' What does this mean, and how can I fix it.
