I must have missed the initial thread - you have two machines? If so, use a laplink cable, load Minicom on the Linux box, and terminal on the 95/NT box, and you can "cheesily" send a few files back and forth. If you want something more network-like, you can install radius on the Linux box, and use dial-up networking on the NT side to connect to the Linux server. A friend of mine did this with Redhat, and there's no reason why debian can't do this. Now he's using two NIC's with a piece of cat 5 cross over cable - no hub. 95's dial-up networking can utilize a "modem" which is a direct connect cable. Its irritating to set up, but what isn't?
