You will probably want to snag the latest kernel source (2.0.35) or maybe even a 2.0.36pre kernel (if you're feeling adventurous), patch the portforwarding stuff in, forget about ipchains and use it when 2.2 comes out or 2.1.xxx is stable enough to work properly, and you should be set.
