This is strange. I have only installed this font-packages and all the scripts run fine. Maybe you have to make sure, that your FontPath setting in /etc/X11/XF86Config is also pointig to the free- and sharefont directories. My section looks like this: /etc/X11/XF86Config: --- snip --- Section "Files" RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc:unscaled" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi:unscaled" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi:unscaled" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/freefont" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/sharefont" EndSection --- snap --- -- __ __ Frank Barknecht ____ ______ ____ __ trip\ \ / /wire ______ / __// __ /__/ __// // __ \ \/ / __ \\ ___\ / / / ____/ / / / // ____// /\ \\ ___\\____ \ /_/ /_____/ /_/ /_//_____// / \ \\_____\\_____\ /_/ \_\
