Unrecognized binary format?

Hi,

Oddly enough, I get an unrecognized binary format if I run gdb on a
C++ program that I compiled.  I get the same results if I run ldd on the 
program.  However, I can run the program just fine.  Any ideas why I
would get unknown binary type errors from gdb and ldd?
