folks, after successfuly downloading and installing debian 2.0, i foolishly set it to start xdm at boot time. unfortunatly i did not get the X server configured correctly and i am now unable to login at the console. i am also not able to remote login because the console is secured against root ogins and i did not create any user accounts.
i figure the only way to fix this is to boot into single user mode and remove the xdm entries, however i am not sure how to do this in linux... needless to say i am feeling very stupid right about now. any help would be appreciated. //daryl
