Well, what I've got is a lot of saved mail in various folders on a "No
Thanks" workstation in my home. Can I use
fetchmail to get messages from a directory? How would I do THAT? The mail
messages can be saved individually as *.txt or *.eml (the last is a
proprietary format, naturally!). If I save them as text only, can they be
accessed from the directory where pine or elm saves messages. or is there
some kind of email indexing file I can edit?

Thanks for the help.
