Hmm. ps and libproc both come in the same package. There should be no problems. Out of curiosity, when you upgraded to 3.0r1, did you use 'dist-upgrade' or 'upgrade' in apt? I always recomment the former, as it's the only one guaranteed to ensure that dependencies are updated.
