They won't mess up anything, they install in different names/locations than existing libraries. When you're installing debian stuff, you can be sure that new packages won't screw things up because conflicting packages are labeled as such and require an additional step to resolve the conflicts. > Also, is this a navigator package, or does it have the communicator? Actually, it contains neither. It requires you to put the tgz or either navigator or communicator (from ftp.netscape) in /tmp. Why bother? Because it makes sure the dependencies are satisfied and ensures that everything goes in the right place. Mike Stone
