Hi, I'm using hamm since a April now on both a "normal" PC and a laptop. Upgrading from bo was relatively easy and I'm very happy w/ hamm. But: Now I built up a new PC w/ a new, clean harddisk, a network card, but w/o a CD-ROM. I like to install hamm via NFS, but I don't get the clue. I boot the system using the resc1440.bin diskette w/o any options. Everything goes fine until I want to install the base system. I choose NFS from the menu, the installation program asks for the NFS server and, of course, it doesn't work, because the network isn't configured yet. OTOH, I cannot configure the network w/o installing the base system first, yes? I this a hen-egg-problem, did I do sth. totally wrong or do I have to install using the five base diskettes (shudder)? Thanks in advance for any help! -- W. Borgert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
