No problem. Have fun! :) By the way, perhaps lilo.conf should be readable by root only since a password will be listed inside it, in your case. This shouldn't be a bad thing, from what I can tell. I am glad that you asked this question since I wanted to do the same thing but never actually tried to figure out how to do it till now.
