freshmeat.net is the canonical site for FS releases. slashdot.org is another 'news' site. www.debianhelp.org and www.debianplanet.org are Debian-aimed news sites to some extent too. sf.net has some news too. If you can bear heavy marketspeak, try some of the osdn.com sites too. -rob
