I am using Exim 1.92, configured with option 2 (SMTP, smarthost). Receiving mail works fine, but if I'm offline and I try to send, I get this bounce:

I'm using the default retry configuration of * * F,2h,15m; G,16h,2h,1.5; F,4d,8h I am using Dominic Mitchell's multiple mailbox configuration[1] (which involves adding suffix = "-*",suffix_optional to the userforward configuration and setting up a funky .forward file), but I don't see how that could affect queuing in any way.
