Fujitsu 520T boot: prompt parameters ...

[How we gonna settle this, guns or litigation? The Trail Rider]

I boot the BOOT/RESCUE floppy,
it brings up its initial menu with the boot: prompt 
and the defaults boot loads root.bin & linux,
then the laptop reboots returning to the initial menu with the boot: prompt
(i.e., I cannot get to  the initial choice menu of the install script).

Any suggestions for boot: prompt parameters for a
Fujitsu 500 Series laptop with a TFT active matrix screen?
