Hello,
I'm new to this list and to Debian Linux.
When I add a user with 'adduser', there seems to be a permission
problem. This manifests itself in various ways. Two significant ways
are:
1) calling the 'mail' program I get the response:
"Bad address"
2) calling the 'man' program I get the response
man: can't create a temporary filename: No such file or
directory
