Assume the install goes as follows:

hdb1,hdb2 ..... slackware root/swap
hdc1 .... slackware /usr
hdc2, hdc3 .... debian root/swap

/etc/lilo.conf has entries for for the two distributions

/sbin/lilo > /dev/fd0

boot off /dev/fd0 .....

the swap partitions for the two distributions ....
How does the system know not to use the swap from the
other distribution. Is it driven by /etc/fstab on each
partition. And how can you be sure that the two linuxes
will not get in each other's way???

Thoughts are apreciated!
