Hi, There was some discussion a while ago about installing a new kernel. I was just wondering if someone had some definate instructions for installing a 'debian compliant' kernel (with correct system.maps, etc, etc). Following the instructions in the README for the kernel source does not work correctly (there is no mention of a system.map file for instance), and I've got a funny feeling I should be putting in a vmlinux (or vmlinuz ?) file instead of zImage.
