First off I want to thank you all for all the feedback about X fonts I will try out teh True Type font packages soon.
However I know have some bind questions. I have an internal network hidden behind IP Masq called *.atkinson.int and I connect to the outside world with ppp and diald. I also running bind. The gateways address is 192.168.1.5. My questions are this? 1) How do I add the the local machines to bind. Putting them in /etc/hosts need not seam to work. 2) Why doesn't diald kick in when bind tries to connect to the outside word when looking up an ip address. 3) I also have another debain machine at 192.168.1.1. However when that machine leaves the network nothing works right. Why is this? I tried making the gateway machine 192.168.1.1 with no luck.
