I get 1 per month that slip by my filters... if that. I post on usenet
on nearly a daily basis. Get better filters.

Sure it would. Ask whomever is hosting your mail, in this case,
Earthlink.net, to get off their arses and get some decent spam filtering in
place. There is a lot of easy filtering they can do which will catch most,
if not all spam with forged headers.
