Great.  Thanks guys,  that did the trick.  Are linux terminfo files
standardized?  That is,  will the file exported via infocmp from my Debian
box be the same as the one from a RedHat box?  If so,  I'll try to talk
the sysadmins into adding my terminfo into the server's /usr/share rather
than keeping it in my account.
