OK, this worked. So I typed at LILO: linux init=/bin/sh
and the system booted as single user without asking for a password. After this I've gave the command: # mount -n -o,remount / I have insued a passwd for the root and one for my regular user. It was ok, so I have rebooted (ctrl-alt-del). The message of expiration disapeared, but the system didn't accept my new password. So, I've booted again as single user and try again. The system reported that Cannot lock the password file. Try again later. passwd[8]:can't lock password file. I've try to remove the passwd files and those of shadow from etc. The next time I've rebooted, it reported that I do not exist. When I've try to give ctrlalt-del from the console it stated that You dont exist. Go away. Again, I've rebooted (whit hard RESET) in single user mode and put back the files of passwd and shadow, but the receive the message with error at locking the passwd file. (I should also make a fsck, I think, as the system was hardware rebooted). Are there any chanses to get back the control of my system or did I've made to much harm to it ?
