I hope some one can help. I seem to have a problem with XFree that
is related to my video card. I have loaded 3 different versions of
Linux, and configured the graphic interface. Each time I try to start
it , I get a msg that there is a fatal error, and the server won't
load. Yet, when I go through the setup, it will configure.
I have a Jaton PCI video card, which has a Cirrus GD5446 chip, and
two megs on board. It performs normally under Win 95, NT and OS/2. Is
ther something that has do do with this combination that is a problem
in running XFree. BTW, MetroX won't run, either. Thanks for the help.
