Just wondering whether there are any utilities/methods of accessing the BIOS?
I have Debian on a Toshiba 1960CS notebook and wanted to access/change the APM options (power management, etc). I've tried the APM package but things didn't work out so well (I recompiled for APM as well) ... I guess my system's BIOS is too old (1993/1994), so I was considering writing a utility to access the BIOS. But as I have no idea of how to do this, thought I'd first ask here if any utilities exist.
