This looks like what I need... On another note, what's the 'right' way to mesh diald with the current ppp from hamm? I was thinking that I'd use the diald connect script to bring the link up, /usr/bin/poff to bring it down. Is there a way to have diald pass the 'noauth' option to pppd without changing the /etc/ppp/options file (which the file warns against)? I suppose the best way is to have diald call /usr/bin/pon as well, but this seems to require some assembly.
