I would like to know if there is a way where I can monitor the number of ppp0 packets transmitted and received as a continuous update on the screen. Similar to the way the tail command will show the last entries in a file as they happen. I know I can use ifconfig to show the number at an instant, but I do not know how to do this on a continuous basis.
