I cannot startx X more than once (per reboot) with my Diamond 3D 3000 card. If I do, the machine locks up hard. Another person mentioned this same problem when I last commented upon it. I am running the latest hamm.
Maybe go with the Matrox (but I am ignorant if it is supported at all).
