print fail , please help

Dear Linux users:

although I seem have lprng running, but when I try lpr
fsshl@www:~$ lpr try
Status Information:

so I tried what it recommand checkpc -f

fsshl@www:~$ checkpc -f
bash: checkpc: command not found

then I su as root
retry

fsshl@www:~$ su
Password:
www:/home/fsshl# checkpc -f
www:/home/fsshl# lpr try

connected to 'localhost'
requesting printer missingprinter@localhost

same bad thing happen
