$ dpkg -S /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.10 xpm4g: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.10 So you need the xpm4 or xpm4g package for libXpm. You'll never find a library libXpm without the .so.something by the way.. is any of your programs asking for it? Don't think so :) bye.
