Star Writer. No file in /tmp is created. However, the script works if execute it and it creates an empty file with the proper name. It appears my problem is that the input filter is never used, or bypassed, somehow. Somewhere along the line of trying different combinations of filters, a file showed up in /tmp that probably looks like what your after. It's attached with the original, system generated filename and the actual text of the document is not recognizable in this file.
