Hi Stan, well, I do not know whether there is or not a good and light "powerpoint" reader. I do know you can read .doc files with abiword but I have not found a .ppt reader. I tried with kpresenter in kde2(it suppose to have a filter for .ppt) but it did not work.
if anyone there find an alternative to openoffice.org, could you let me know it, please? thanks rodrigo On Thu, 2002-12-05 at 20:08, Mark Janssen wrote: > On Thu, 2002-12-05 at 20:54, David Goodenough wrote: > > On Thursday 05 December 2002 16:37, stan wrote: > > > What tool can I use to view poer point file? > > > > Try OpenOffice.org > > Or run Microsofts powerpoint viewer (standalone executable) under wine > or crossover. > > MS has freeware (binary only) viewers for all their office formats. > > -- > Mark Janssen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Saiko Internet Technologies > > > -- > To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > with a subject of "unsubscribe".
