Well, let's sort out which error messages you mean. Anybody running an installation kernel is going to see the WD-7000 one (unless they have a WD-7000, I suppose!), and the next line comes from having parallel-port SCSI support but (e.g. a zip drive) not present. (Though I get error 2, not 1.) But these were in the boot up section and are harmless. The others looked more serious, but I'm no expert. Some people have had cabling problems, others have had to switch off a feature like ultra speed.
