Looking through the available documentation, it seems that the only way to install source package is to use it to create a binary package, and then install the newly created binary package. Am I missing something or is this the only way? If this is the only way, why is this necessary? I would think doing an installation after the build would be possible without having to take the extra step of creating a binary package. If this isn't the only way, could someone please explain how to go about installing a binary package?
