gpc won't compile any programs on my debian-System. I have installed gpc, gpc-doc and libgpc2. The Version No. of all three debian-packages is 2.0-3 .
I always get the same error-message: ld: cannot open -lgpc: No such file or directory I also tried to compile some of the files in the examples- directory. I always get this message. I think what ld needs here is the libgpc.so.2.8 (?) file and tried several -l and -L options, but ld won't find anything that I specify this way (similar error message). Compiling C-programs is no problem, so ld should work. Can please anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
