There are flags to dpkg to make it export the list of selected packages and then re-import it. Try "dpkg --get-selections > selection_list", and then "dpkg --set-selections < selection_list" on another workstation. This will do your package selection, but will _not_ install the packages or answer install-time questions. We have a plan of action for dealing with that aspect of the problem, but I can't give you a completion date at this time.
