Also, doesn't psaux depend on the misc module? Here's the output from lsmod on my machine: cgowave-4-237:~# lsmod Module Pages Used by psaux 1 1 (autoclean) misc 1 [psaux] 1 (autoclean) vfat 3 2 (autoclean) fat 6 [vfat] 2 (autoclean) ne 2 1 8390 2 [ne] 0 You'll need to select the misc module when recompiling the kernel.
